Confirm a payment with a proper receipt — numbered, dated and with the VAT shown per rate.
Record a payment against an invoice, then press Receipt next to it. The receipt gets its own number (R2026-001), shows the payment date and method, references the invoice, and splits the amount received across the invoice's VAT rates — also for partial payments, to the cent.
You can also start a standalone receipt here for a cash or card sale: add the items with prices including tax and the VAT is worked out for you.
Note: in countries with fiscal cash registers (for example Slovenia or Croatia for cash and card payments), a receipt for a cash sale must come from a certified register — this tool is for confirming payments, not a fiscal register.
There is no account and no server behind this invoice generator. Your business details, clients, products and invoices are stored in your browser's own database (IndexedDB) and never uploaded. The PDF is built on your device. The only request the app ever makes on its own is optional: if you click Use ECB rate on a foreign-currency invoice, it asks the European Central Bank for that day's reference rate — sending just the two currency codes and the date. That also means nobody else has a copy — download a backup from Settings → Backup now and then, and keep it with your accounting files. Nothing is locked in: every PDF carries its own data, the backup format is documented, and you can download an offline copy of the whole app.
No. An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms that a payment was received. For a paid invoice, the receipt refers to it.
Yes. Record the partial payment on the invoice and create a receipt for it — the VAT is split in proportion.
